ECOART  project will inspire young people & encourage a long-term flourishing relationship between the social structures & natural environments in which we live. In simple words, it willdiscuss the state of the environment, & explore creative & innovative ways to communicate & search for answers to our pressing concerns

GENERAL OBJECTIVE : Using artistic disciplines ( photography & digital storytelling ) to environment & raise public awareness on environmental problems.


– Raise public awareness about environmental issues

-To develop life long learning skills or performance and techniques that will allow pupils to participate fully in the project

-To improve their confidence to take actions and believe they will make a positive difference;

– Explore the concept of environmental protection

 -To improve ecological life philosophy on our students,

-To expand ICT & language skills which they can use in a meaningful context

This project will create conditions for the development of each participant in an environment different from the familiar one, by using innovative approaches. Organizations in this project will act as catalysts for change by offering the students and community the opportunity of getting positive and favourable experience in learning.

Our responsibility is not only emphasising the teaching & learning process but also doing our best on aspects like team work, social & emotional development, respect and human rights. The focus is on the effective counteraction against the negative influences of everyday human activity on the environment by increasing the awareness of all the participants. increase Caring for self, for others, for living things, and for our planet.

Education ‘in’, ‘for’ and ‘through’ culture and heritage

General Objectives:

-Encourage young people to explore Europe’s rich and diverse cultural heritage and reinforce a sense of belonging to a common European space.

-Develop intercultural skills of participants through creative activities.

The specific objectives are :

*Enhancing students capability to become not only fulfilled citizens able to live in society but also responsible citizens regarding the protection of cultural heritage.

*To foster awareness of cultural heritage, emerge its uniqueness, emphasize the individuality of our countries and encourage dialogue amongst different cultures.

* Develop young peoples’ emotional intelligence and effective communicative, collaborative and creative skills;

* Discover different cultural identities and to what extent these different identities live together in Europe or in their own countries;

* Introduce a sense of European dimension of education, introducing the idea of international collaborative work and the amelioration of a European dimension on linguistic and culturalcontents in the curriculum;

* Increase the motivation of direct and indirect beneficiaries of lifelong learning to develop ICT skills as a way to communicate and to use them as a purposeful everyday tool, to learn a new language and as a means of communication and mastering English for project work;

*Encourage the cooperation within 6 organisations in Europe and the exchange of good practices.

Online media plays a central role in spreading extremist or racist ideologies, so critical use of media is crucial to resilience to those. Experts agree that fostering media literacy & raising awareness of online content & strategies of extremist propaganda can challenge (violent) extremism. If people are equipped with the necessary digital & civic skills, the dissemination & the acceptance of those ideas will be more difficult. E.g., the French Ministry of Education launched a national strategy to fight radicalization.

Digital media must promote connectivity, dialog & support to stay in education for disadvantaged communities. We believe that fostering these skills (by creating a high quality innovative digital pathway) & making them available is the responsibility of governmental (ie schools) & non-governmental organizations that interact with migrants / refugees. We have developed this project for the target as end-users; social disadvantage youth 13-18 yrs, with an approach that will draw on interrelated digital media workshops to improve their digital & journalism skills & keep them in Education to combat in the long term their poverty & disadvantage.

-Use media technology effectively to access, retrieve and exchange content in order to meet the individual and community needs and interests; and common value.

-Reinforce the development of key competences (Recommendation for life learning), by using creative, digital & innovative learning approaches, with a tailored and flexibility for the target group of Migrants.

-Increase understanding among participants of media power in the construction of reality &establish more critical and selective approaches
